Volunteer
Children and adults are welcome in the garden to participate in the joy of gardening through planting, harvesting, and community interaction. Please see the attached documents to review volunteer times, procedures, and safety. Please come prepared with close-toed shoes, clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, a hat, water bottle or snack!
All volunteers meet at SCGFF at the end of West Illinois St. Bloomington IL 61701 unless otherwise stated.
Volunteer days:
Tuesday 9 am - 12 pm
Friday 9 am - 12 pm
Saturday groups by appointments
All volunteers are required to review and sign the volunteer waiver form before beginning work. If possible please bring a printed and signed form to the Garden. If you are unable to do so we will have a limited number of pre-printed copies on sight. Also under these special circumstances, all volunteers are required to come prepared with a face and mouth covering and reviewed the COVID Guideline below.
